I'm making hard-boiled eggs for everyone! How do you like yours? |
|
Do you like it plain? With just a sprinkle of salt? Dipped in dijon mustard, or yellow mustard or honey mustard?
Do you like deviled eggs (hold me the hell BACK!)?
What?
(I'm eating one now. Light sprinkle of salt and dijon mustard. Mmmmmmmmm.)

Whites added to some white sauce, poured over toast. Yolks pushed through a sieve or garlic press and sprinkled on top. MMMMMMM makes a great brunch or lunch diss.
Just something to do with all those boiled eggs. ;)

Peel a hard-boiled egg while it's still warm. Mash it with a fork and add a little butter, mashing it in as it melts. Sprinkle with salt to taste. Eat on toast (or with toast on the side).
Very yummy - good comfort food. My mother used to make that for me.
Second favorite way to eat hard-boiled eggs: deviled!

22. Hot Eggs - Pickled in jalapeno juice |
|
A guy I used to work with brought these pickled hard boiled eggs to work for lunch, and he showed me how to make them.
Get a jar of chopped jalapenos and put the juice and the peppers in a larger container. Add about 6 hard boiled and shelled eggs, top off the container with some wine vinegar, let sit for a week. Dayum, they are good. I am going to pickle a bunch with the habaneros in my cabinet. Now that's what you call hot eggs!!!
