1. Loose end away from the wall. |
|
I don't know why, but this is one of my biggest pet peeves.

3. We survey it all here in the lounge |
|
Everyone knows the proper way to hang toilet paper. Those folks who hang it backwards just do that to annoy others.

13. Loose end out works better |
|
This way, when you shower the humidity on the walls doesn't cause the tp to stick to the walls.

It rarely makes it to the holder. Most of the time it just sits on the counter.

6. I don't like to hunt and scratch for the end |
|
The quicker I'm in and outta there, the better. Don't give me an "experience" by letting the end of the roll play peekaboo over there next to the wall. Don't give me a padded toilet seat. Don't give me 9 kinds of air freshener. Don't give me magazines. Don't give me "adorable" little wall hangings and embroideries of outhouses. Don't give me carpeted toilet lids and tank covers. Mmkay?

11. Lid & tank covers can be dangerous. |
|
Cause when the lid's up then the material in the covers gets in the way and the angle isn't right to KEEP the lid up and if you're not tall enough when the lid slams down you get such a WHACK! ow ow ow

7. loose end towards the wall |
|
otherwise, when you go to rip off a sheet, the roll just rolls and rolls and rolls away, leaving you with a big mitten of TP.
If the loose end is hanging under the roll (against the wall), then you can tear it off against the roll and get just the amount you need without having a huge glove of TP on your hand, or worse, a large pile of TP on the floor for the cats to play with.
Which is another thing---if the roll is against the wall, and the cats start batting the roll, the loose end won't pile on the floor. WIth the roll AWAY from the wall, if they start pawing the roll, all the TP comes undone, which the cats find fun, but which I find annoying :)

12. also torque is better |
|
I read that somewhere once before. You can also hold the roll and tear easier.
