We are now officially the geekiest house in Colorado. |
|
We now have a Mac Mini digital set-up in our entertainment room - an 80 GB Mac Mini connected to our receiver and our television that will work both as a digital music and movie player (downloading movies through itunes). The Mac Mini also comes with a DVD player so we can still play movies from our DVD collection.
I can also, if I wish, plug my USB flash drive into the back of the Mac Mini and access my files if I wish to do any short writing pieces, email, or other work.
To operate the Mac we have a wireless keyboard that can be held in the lap anywhere. We may upgrade the keyboard to a keyboard with touch pad so we can also have full mouse functions, as well.
We also use the Mac Mini as the wireless networking drive (a shared drive) for all of our files saved on other computers in the house.
The Mac Mini comes equipped with Mac OS X with all the goodies therein.
