In particular, he steals necklaces. I'll hear *clackclackclack* and there he'll be, dragging a necklace across the floor. Just the other day he snagged a string of pearls; I have to hide all those things now. A few minutes ago I caught him digging in my purse and trying to steal my ID from work, which is on a beaded lanyard. That's the second attempt for that item.
This is the same cat who steals fuzzy socks. I wonder if he's trying to put together a weird wardrobe of some kind?

2. Maybe the cat likes playing with string type things that make noise. |
|
Most cats do. Take a sturdy string and put aluminum foil at the end of it and you'll see. Just don't let the cat swallow it.

3. That sounds interesting. |

I am always so amazed at the crazy things animals do. I have had many through the years and I never tire of watching them.

7. They do have strange little ways, don't they... |
|
Couldn't figure out why I could never find my shearling slippers where I was SURE I'd left them...chalked it up to "Oh well, I'm losing it..." then just happened to look up, and there's Wimsey- trotting into the bedroom, carrying a slipper in his jaws.
I now have an explanation for all that white fuzzy stuff I've been finding all over the floor too...little shit darling's been playing "Disembowel The Slipper".
I've made them catnip 'rats' with little jingly bells on the 'nose' that are long enough for them to grab, bite and kick...and gotten scraps from the local leather store for them to drag around, but do they play with those?
NOOOOOOO....:eyes:
...probably should put fresh catnip into the 'nip rats though...

8. My cat dug around in my husband's gym bag, pulled out his iPod shuffle from |
|
a zippered pocket, and ran off with it. We caught him trotting down the hall with the shuffle in his mouth and the earbuds dragging on the floor behind him. I couldn't stop laughing about it. I guess he wanted to listen to some tunes.

12. One of my cats loves to pick pins out of the pin cushion with her mouth |
|
and drop them on the floor. Dropping things on the floor is her favourite thing. Does it to jewelry too.
