<sigh>

Because everyone knows that children love to be kept in a building while it's beautiful outside.

<sigh>

The snow is blowing past my window. I'm upstairs. x(

3. Snow days are bogus.
I never ONCE had a snow or cold or whatever day from K through 12 in Minneapolis.

I don't think Minneapolis ever closes schools.

6. I remember going to Binghamton NY in January when I was 10.
They had 36" of snow one night and the schools did not close.

7. The further south you go, the less snow removal equipment is owned
The same goes for cities. When a big snow hits, you sit and hope it melts quick, because no one is going to come dig you out.

It snowed Tuesday night and some people are STILL waiting (not us, though).

We were out Wed., 2 hr. delay yesterday. Last night the winds were horrendous and blew the roads shut again, so we're out again today.

I told Mr. AAL we were going to invest in a snow blower next season. :D
