Do I hold a Comcast record yet?
I've been on hold for seven and a half hours, trying to get a technician out here to fix our cable service, which doesn't work in the bedroom.

1. Hit the * key repeatedly, and then say
"Send someone over immediately--I really need some help in the bedroom."

2. Can't you just talk to the online customer service?
I've done their live chat, and had service changed, etc.

3. well they love to upgrade service
That is easy to do. I just tried that and they didn't recognize my "problem." But I did just email them. They say the'll get back in 24 hours. We'll see.

4. ugh tell me about it
we were without internet for most of 4 months last year. It was impossible to get them on the phone.

the tech who came out here (same guy 4 times) finished up once and was on the phone in my living room, finally I asked "what...are you on hold?" yeah the techs THEIR TECHS don't have a separate line to call in jobs and problems. They have to call the same number you and I do.

5. We finally got rid of Comcast, and it felt so good!
When they canceled MSNBC and raised their rates again, we finally had enough. We got Direct TV, and so far it's waaaay better.

We never had them for internet, though.
