I know they're cheesy, but I can't help it...

2. "Mr. Roboto" is a great song. |
|
Listen to the words, hear what they are trying to say. I think most of us were way too harsh about it when the song first came out. Actually, I like the whole album. Back when albums actually told stories and had messages. Meaning.

"Other" has one vote. If you edit, it will reflect the vote I didn't cast (yet).

From "Serpent," "Don't Sit Down On A Plexiglas Toilet."
(I'm serious, that is a Styx song, first heard it on Dr Demento)

I've got their entire catalog on vinyl (well, the stuff that was released on vinyl). That song is a hoot.

6. I wanted to vote "None of the Above" but it wasn't offered... |

I know I will get flamed by Styx fans, and I fully support everyone's choice for music, but IMNSHO, this is the worst of '80's "corporate rock".
Many years later, (according to 'Behind the Music') the only person from Styx NOT embarrassed by the 'Kilroy' debacle, is Dennis DeYoung. The rest of the band abhors this point in their career.
The band did have promise in the late '70's. In the '80's and beyond? They stunk on ice.
Flame away...

14. Yep! "Lorelei"! I was just gonna say the same! |

It's the only song of theirs I will listen to now, though I haven't gone so far as to buy whatever album it's on.

Father time's at my back on my heels Behind every door (and he says) Son when the youth has but gone from your face Will she let you grow older with grace?
Some Skittles trivia - Styx played in my high scool gym when I was a junior in Illinois - before they hit it big. :)

I really, really hate Styx.
But I turn that song up and sing along every time it comes on the radio.
