6. Maybe to cut and paste them to notepad and remember to name them for |
|
retrieval later on.
Possibly someone has a better way to go than that though.

8. That's pretty much what I do... |
|
I use the PM title as the name so I can remember what it was about. I also put the date it was sent/received in the email header.

15. Well, there is one more way if you have windows 7. You can go to |
|
the start area and find the 'snipping tool' and it's the same as doing a screen shot. Only I think it allows you to bypass using 'Paint', like you do in a screen shot.
And then you save the snip to where ever you want. To your pictures or desktop.
I might be a little off, but I think that's how it goes.
If you have trouble finding the snipping tool, just type it into your search function.
It should show up right away.

16. but, I would still have to do it one PM at a time, right? I was hoping for a way |
|
to just transfer my whole PM box/file at one fell swoop.

7. My dear Tuesday Afternoon! |
|
What works for me: I just copy and paste the PM into a new email, which I don't send. My computer then asks me if (since the email wasn't sent) if I would like to store it in my drafts folder. I click on "yes."
It's a bit cumbersome, but it gets the job done.
I had thought that if I just saved the PM title, that that would work. I lost several important ones that way. It doesn't work once you delete the originals.

I routinely scan ATA and now and then I find a genuine bit of helpful info.
Thank goodness we have some time yet. DU3 is supposed to launch mid-December.
