We just bought a Nissan Leaf
Cool car, 100% electric, and goes 70-100 miles on a charge

Our Honda CRV died a horrible death, and we need two cars in this house

So....we got the leaf

Pros:

- Never buy gas again
- Costs $1.50 per day to charge
- Carpool Lane privileges
- All kinds of EV privileges for now (free parking in San Jose, etc)

Cons:

- Not American made
- Costs a lot
- No reserve tank of gas if you run out of juice

All in all, I like it

It's sooooooooo quiet! Except when you back up...then it beeps.
