So I interviewed the other day in a well-known city with lots of lights and 24/7 action located somewhere in the lower western half of the U.S. for a job in my field of expertise (immigration and HR) with an incredible company - "Z" - that is reputed to be one of the best (in the top 10) places to work in the U.S. with an awesome culture and benefits to die for...
Hubby and I would love to live and work in that particular area. I loved meeting the team and going through a grueling interview, some of which is a 'culture fit' interview. I know I'd be a terrific cultural fit. I think I did great, but sometimes we don't perceive what others perceive. Now, I'm waiting - anxiously - to hear back... I feel this is the chance of a lifetime to work for a company where I could stay for eons and actually enjoy coming to work everyday and I like dry heat.
Getting nervous and hoping for good news... I need all the good vibes you can spare... thanks!

I sent a follow up email yesterday when I returned. The recruiting is done via Jobvite. I'd like to think I'm a shoe-in (for those who are looking for clues on the company), but time will tell
