Oh, joy. I have pink eye.
I've never had such an annoying affliction. Painful, too! Good thing I have some eye drops on hand...

1. Our 2-year old grandson
had it last week. It was quite a battle getting those drops into his eye.

2. Last week I had a BIG sty on the inside of my L lower eyelid.

At first, I thought it was the beginning of pink eye -- everything I've
read and heard makes me DREAD the idea of getting it.

Now... bloodshot eyes are sometimes a worthwhile side-effect.

3. oddly enough, I just had it last week.
and I had it a month before last week, also. the last time I had pink eye before that was when I was a little kid.

I don't know why I suddenly got it twice within five weeks after being pink eye free for over 30+ years.

4. I had it a few years ago.
I didn't know what it was until I went to the doctor. (And of course I got it late on a Friday so I had two days of it before even getting treatment.)

5. Eye drops may add to your misery. This is a MUST visit to the doctor
or the ER. They will give you the right medication and it takes a while to clear up. Trust me on this, and if you don't do it soon some permanent damage could ensue. This is a nasty, nasty infection and requires an antibiotic. Hope you feel better soon. Also, even though it appears to be clearing up, instructions will be that you have to use the entire bottle, just so ya know....
