and I'm going to grad school. We worked out my projected program of work.
I'm starting with a teacher's certificate for elementary school in Texas. But I will switch to Master's in Education in Teaching.
I'm really excited about my new adventure. Not too thrilled with more homework and loans, though.
But YEA ME! I'm very proud of myself.
:) :toast:
They only thing that makes me sad is my Grandma is not around. She would be so proud. I miss my Grandma hugs. I wish I could tell her.

My cousin/sister went back to school to become a teacher and eventually got a PhD in education. (Took her many years.) She's now the head of mathematics at a large high school in the Chicago area.
BTW: She's my cousin/sister because my three cousins' parents died when they were 13, 10 and 10. (Fraternal twins.) My parents took them in, so from the time i was 14, they lived in the same house with me. They're more like brothers and sisters to me, then they are cousins.

that was really good of your parents to take them in. Glad she turned out ok. That must have been hard on them.

I didn't know anyone was actually paying attention. Thanks!
The advisor for this track was the only advisor that got back with me on the same day. Actually made an appointment with me and explained everything to me...upfront. What a concept?!?! :)
