As valet parkers scrambled to alleviate a stalled line of cars, guests at Thursday evening's campaign fundraiser for Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger listened to chants and protests aimed at the event's two celebrities: the governor and former President George H.W. Bush.
The Hillsborough dinner was hosted in the Bridge Road home of Katie Boyd, a Republican donor, according to the San Mateo County Central Labor Council, which organized a line of approximately 75 protesters. Members of the California Nurses Association, International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 617 and the county Labor Council chanted ``Save the needy, don't be greedy'' and held signs reading ``Arnold: A Bad Actor, A Worse Governor.'' ...
