How precious is water to you? You might have to pay T. Boone Pickens |
|
and others like him, soon as they buy up all the water rights in the Nation. Is anybody monitoring this issue? (And is there not an Environmental Forum on DU; maybe I did not look in the right place?)

3. There is plenty water in the US. The problem is distribution. |

We let our fresh water run back into the ocean each year. We never replenish or ground water either.

Pray tell, where else should it go?

5. Indeed, the fact that it is "living water" is what makes it pleasant to |
|
drink... not letting it head to the sea would result in a new Dead Sea or a Death Valley akaline puddle...choked coast lines, dead sealife, etc. The fact that one can piss on the side of the Continental Divide and have half of it eventually end up in the Pacific and the other in the Gulf is part of the great circle of life...
