2. I think this is a very bad idea.

She should go with the standard government issue curtains for the Speaker's Office.

She needs no gifts from special interests (which we are) and no wasting time on silly issues (especially one which the Republicans and reactionaries will point out is a particularly feminine one); but a Rooseveltian 100 Days spartan approach to getting this country back on the right track.

I think it would be great if she didn't even bother to hang her pictures. Troops are dying. Citizens are doing with out medical care. Billions are being stolen.

Think what a powerful message it would send for our first WOMAN Speaker of the House to ignore the trappings of office and focus all her attention to curing the ills of this society.

some great confederate flag curtains home-made here in the south. They may be partly red in color but I think it would make such a great political statement for Nancy!
