6. I'm pretty far left even by DU standards...

...and I don't take my ball and go home every time a moderate/corporatist posts something I don't like. And anyway, DU is generally a good deal to the left of the DLC.

Do you withhold donations from public radio and issue them ultimatums unless *every single thing* they broadcast is 100% to your liking? You're using Skinner's bandwidth, ferfuxsakes, it wouldn't kill ya to throw him a sawbuck, and even if you don't want to, do you imagine that a pitifully bullying post like this is going to turn him into a dyed-in-the-wool Trotskyite or something?

That must keep your blood pressure soaring. I am to the left of most on DU, but I also am wise enough to remind myself that the party is a big tent. Nor do I like the thought of marching in lockstep...I leave that to the Republicans.

11. This is a very strange post. But I know people that take it personally

if you ask for donations for any cause. This poster doesn't really believe that Skinner is going to throw some magic switch just to get some meager donation from this guy. Something smells here. To me a true lefty would never write this post. Those on the left believe in freedoms (eg to express) to a fault sometimes. I m sorry for rambling but why is this in the "Activist HQ" thread?

Poster if you don't want to donate that is your right, Skinner probably (sarcasm) will let you continue to post, but please, please don't give me some half-assed rationalization why you won't donate.

And another thing, I don't understand putting people on ignore. Are you trying to limit out inputs you don't like?? (This is a general comment, not to the poster)
