Obama said America was predominantly Christian but added there are many other faiths and we should respect each other's faith.

My county of 145,000 has 180 churches and 24 different sects or denominations.

I don't see a lot of Christ-like anything in the public face of Christianity.

I'm going to start refusing to call people who don't even bother to pretend to act Christ-like "Christian." I mean, if I put a BMW logo on my '93 Honda and insist on calling it a BMW, when clearly it is in no way a BMW on the inside, people might call me a liar. Even if I desperately want it to be a BMW. Even if I take it to the BMW dealership once a week. Even if I'm offended when other people refuse to support my insane insistence on calling it what it clearly, definitively, isn't.

I think the same is fair with religions.
