1. Where are the anti-Sharia camgaigners?

40 beatings is worse than most kids get in Iran.

Observations:

1) When I went to the YouTube site, several of the linked videos were spanking porn.

2) "Pink" had a video there, too. Pink recently went on record encouraging parents to "beat the shit out of" their kids, claiming it kept her out of trouble.

3) I went to a church school like that from 2st to 3rd grade. I was a nervous wreck by age 7, and had to be taken out of that school with what would be diagnosed as PTSD these days. No fewer than three of my classmates eventually had trouble with the law.

2. I recently talked to a man, now 19 years old who told me that at the age of 18 in his senior year

he was paddled 6 times by his male principal. "How does that work?" I asked him "Here you are a man, old enough to go to war and another man

is hitting your buttocks with a board? Just sounds freakish to me."

He laughed and said "Yes it's really weird but if you don't take them you don't get to graduate. No choice."

3. No choice?

Of course you have a choice - it's called a GED, and having one didn't keep either of my stepdaughters from getting into the colleges of their choice.

A lawsuit is another choice. Either for violence or for sexual molestation.

And frankly, in this sort of case, I personally think a good solid beatdown is a choice also. Maybe not a legal one like the other two, but a choice nevertheless. "Well, the bastard tried to hit me with a stick. What did you EXPECT me to do? Turn the other cheek?"

Where's the rightwingers with their second amendment when you need them?

4. Not just choice, but a lawsuit, and civil criminal charges

I second the lawsuit idea. If several dozen Southern school districts were forced into receivership and had "disciplinarians" facing sexual assault charges because of the so-called "Christian" command to smack some teen-age booty, you can bet that the rest of them would suddenly discover the legal and Scriptural need to respect the rights of young adults.

When I was in high school, there were a couple of ass-freaks. One of them began a spanking, and ended up in the local emergency ward with a broken arm and several lost teeth. His victim was 17 years old, and if I recall correctly, only did a month or so in county detention.

5. I can't figure out why more people won't speak up and fight back

or file the lawsuits but they just don't do it. I can't even figure out how a teenager gets to the point where he just bends over and takes it?

If I was that teenager I just know that I would never stand for someone to do that to my body and my Dignity. You would have had to have five or

six people to hold me down to do it to me.
