From the October 2011 e-mail today:
Some people very far from Washington,DC, such as in Hawaii and California, are planning solidarity events. We encourage as many people as can to be in Washington, DC, but do understand that it is not possible for some to travel. Here is a note from organizers in California:
"Many people, not able to attend the DC action, have asked for a solidarity action on the West Coast. We are beginning to look into the feasibility of doing so in San Francisco. If you are interested, please email: SanFrancisco.october11@gmail.com
Please indicate the following - (1) I am interested in helping plan the action (2) I would like to participate."
I will be there! Anyone else??

My friends and I are looking forward to DC action. Hope to see a great turnout on the West Coast as well!
