You can judge for yourself it's fake or not. I would be surprised if this weren't a prelude to some republican stunt to make it hard to vote in VA this election- maybe part of some big "stop voter fraud" operation? Hopefully we'll know before election day.

A few weeks ago there was a big flurry of mailings to several states, similar to this except with the mailing address being a GOP headquarters, and the applications weren't actual ballots or applications. I'm trying to remember which states - I'm thinking North Carolina, and I think they only went to registered Dems. Several DUers got them and posted about it, and I think a couple of media outlets paid some attention to it.

My response on your other post just meant OF COURSE the GOP is playing dirty - that goes without saying. Esp. in Virginia, where the head of the state GOP has been saying nasty things about Obama.

With the propaganda though, not the ballot application, in this case. They should have included deadlines though, and the fact that this is useless except for voters already registered (and VA deadline has passed).
