1. Its only a beginning

The nightmare of the economy is just beginning.

We have a long way to go.

But the potential is there to begin undoing the Bush mistakes and rebuilding the nation our founders intended...

2. Obama has an enormous task ahead of him. I can only hope that in two terms (i hope for) he can make

some good progress along the path of fixing this country's economic and political problems. It may, possibly, take almost a generation to really get us 'well' economically again (the deficit)(given the other challenges we need to face).

Hopefully though, he can make some real progress in getting us started in the right direction. (a lot depends, as always, on how much progress the Republicans will allow.)
