Assuming that many here want to show our "displeasure" with the current crop of poisonous |
|
Democratic office-holders now doing the bidding of their corporate owners, how is the best way to do that? #1) Many say not voting for a DLCer, DINO, BlueDog is only giving the electoral win to the pukes. So, maybe that is not a viable option. #2) Many say support a liberal in the primary but it is mandatory to "come home" for the general election, lest #1 occur. I wonder - if they ultimately get our vote, what incentive do they have for ever changing? #3) Many say "hold your nose" because an un-Dem is better than the alternative - you know, preserving that wonderful "majority" we are now enjoying so much. Again, if they ultimately get our vote, what incentive do they have for changing? How about this...? Work as hard as you can for liberal primary opponents to the un-Dems. If the real Democrat wins, double efforts for the general election. But, if the DINO wins the primary, immediately change your registration to something else (hopefully Lib or Green or other leftie party) and then send (a copy of) your new registration to your state and national parties along with an explanation of your reasoning. This will preserve your ability to vote however you want in the general election (avoiding #1 above). If "Democratic" registration falls between the Primary and General elections, a message can be delivered without doing actual harm. Maybe they will get the message. Personally, I think that nothing short of replacing the un-Dems with real Democrats who subscribe to traditional Democratic values and policies will be effective. IMO, this current gang of cretins is beyond redemption. But then, I am a glass-mostly-broken kind of guy. ps - is un-Dem a good term for those who are selling us out?

1. I used to last at the stupidity diplayed by the freepers when they would toss around the term "RINO" |

Still to address your point, liberal make up 20% of the population. Your plan will end up with 20% of Congress controlled by people you like, but who are powerless to do anything. Not my idea of a good situation.

expecting different results from the corporate controlled Dems is insane. I won't vote for a repug wearing a "D' behind their name again.
