Limpballs bemoans GOP leadership for making Barton retract his "apology" to BP. |
|
Limpballs says that it was a "shakedown" , and he has implied that the GOP leadership really does agree with Barton, but they know that most Americans support President Obama's demand that BP set up the $20 billion fund, so they have to appear as if they are siding with the people instead of with big business.
P.S. Didn't Rush get the memo that health reform has passed. Shouldn't he be in Costa Rica by now?

1. No one MADE Barton retract, he just realized this was political suicide. |
|
If he really believed it, and cared more about his beliefs than his political career, he would never have retracted. He was grandstanding in front of the cameras and got burned.
And really, is anyone still listening to that gasbag. Maybe for entertainment value, but no one is taking him seriously anymore. Even his supporters are afraid to quote him these days, he is so far out there.

Limbaugh is a huge threat to our democracy, not just the Democrats. He does not speak the truth, he appeals to emotions not intellect ... he obstructs the marketplace of ideas.
