Remember, re Cain's "inappropriateness" ... |
|
These are the ones who had enough courage to face the wrath of the GOP to try to stop Cain's attacks on women ...
How many more have kept their mouths shut, knowing that the Republicans' tactic is to claim it was "liberal backlash" and to drag their reputations through the mud?

1. Most harassment goes unreported for exactly these reasons. |

3. Another thing to remember is that many |
|
women, when something like this happens, think it's a one-off, and that's another reason they don't report it. My personal guess is that most women, at some point in their lives, have had some asshole come on to them inappropriately, and since nothing further happens, they just don't bother to tell anyone. It's when that person years later is running for President, that a woman might say to herself, You know people ought to have a better idea of what he's really like.
I've had similar things happen to me, fortunately nothing that rose to a level that I felt should be reported to anyone, but if any of those guys were today running for President, I might well speak up.

5. come on, he is still presidential, it is not like he screamed yeeehaw |
|
or somthing like Dean did, yelling yowie to your supporters is so not presidential whereas sexual harassment is the sign of a good leader, like Berlusconi....

6. if it would get him votes, he would. |
|
He's already shown that he would succumb to talking "street" ... of course, when a black (Dem/Liberal) speaks like Cain has been in the other 99% of his media appearances, it's put down as speaking like they're too "self-important" ...
