If Countdown w/ Keith is MSNBC's highest rated show then why are there still GOP shows? |

Morning Joes and Tuckers show has dismal ratings, why not have a liberal morning show and get rid of Tuckers show? I don't get it.

2. But there is only 1 liberal show and that is Keiths. The other 2 are conservative. |
|
and their ratings are horrible. It doesn't make sense to me.

3. Of late, I really don't mind Morning Joe. |
|
I'm sure my opinion will change again, after we have our nominee and he goes RW again. But I do enjoy the set-up and casual approach to discussion vs. just straight reporting.

Joe Scarborough isn't half bad since he doesn't really have a stake in things like he used to-he seems more intent on being happy in his life than letting partisan politics ruin it every day because let's face it-it CAN drive one nuts if you take it too seriously-now Tucker...there's a guy that should be replaced by either Rachel Maddow or Schuster-also Dan Abrams' playing the devil's advocate every night for the Clinton campaign seems to me to be disingenuous

Why are asshats like Savage, etc. on the radio in every town? Not because they get listeners, but because the Clear Channel nazis want to get the Goebbels message out to the hinterlands. I swear, I was driving through Buttfuck, Pa., in the afternoon and got Rush Limpballs on like 7 different stations at the same time. And I know there's a lot more radio talent out there.

5. Well Phil Donohue was one of the top cable shows and they axed him |
|
because GE owns NBC and GE is a MAJOR defense contractor. I keep expecting KO to get the ax. As per previous experience, ratings have nothing to do with employment. Clear Channel has taken numerous big AM radio stations and run their ratings down the crapper with their brand of RW insane talkers, but they don't care.

6. I think Dan Abrams is pretty good too. As for all the conservatives, |
|
It's probably some kind of Welfare for Wingnuts program.

7. I wouldnt call Morning Joe a GOP show |

Mika is not a conservative, and I doubt Willie is either.
Hardball, nobody really knows, though Tweety hates the war.
Dan Abrams is on the liberal side however, and Tucker always has liberals on his panel.

8. because the billionaires counting on never having to pay taxes ever again |

are counting on people becoming more and more stupid as time goes on, so that Repubs get elected more and more, guaranteeing the "tax cuts" snake-oil will be played as the best thing, and for that, ratings are not required, propaganda is ...

9. Do you want MSNBC to be like Fox, but just all "liberal"? |
|
If we find the programming of Fox to be suspect, based on its single partisan agenda, I hope we would find the same programming structure suspect at MSNBC.

15. I wouldn't mind a truly partisan left-wing network |
|
But I wouldn't want it to be like Fox. I would want it to be honest. An honest left-wing network would be great.
I don't think a left-wing Fox would ever fly, because lefties, in general, are too smart for that.
