Can you comment at Huffington Post? |
|
After many attempts over nearly two years at producing a login at HuffPo, I sent this email, ________________________________________________________________________________ I do love the Huffington Post, I check it several times a day. At times I would like to share a comment. Sadly I find I cannot. Apparently my membership exists, but I have never gotten a password or connection.
Do you have a policy of avoiding accounts with generic mail services such as Gmail, Hotmail, and Yahoo? I did have a bit of trouble ages ago, getting on Democratic Underground. Skinner was indeed kind enough to make allowances for me.
Do you need to know that I am not a bot or freeper? Let me state for the record, that I renounce Bush and all of his works.
Do I match the profile of a known flamer?
I do love the Huffington Post, and I will continue to enjoy it even if I don't meet the standards of membership. I probably will not be a regular poster, often after organizing my thoughts, I find that someone else has posted such and my comment would be superfluous.
Anyway, sorry to take up your time, keep up the good work,

They generally get enough comments, so perhaps extra voices are not needed. It makes me wonder if I have been profiled however.

3. HuffPo has a policy where every post is reviewed |
|
by a moderator before being posted. Often times the posts nay be rejected and therefore never posted. I used to post over there, but the review process and "iffy" nature of posting makes it less than desirable for myself. I still read articles there from time to time, but I rarely ever post there any more.
