My letter to Bill Richardson, re: Faux

I just sent this to my Gov.... for all the good it will do. I don't watch Faux in my home and I don't want to watch it while in public, either. Call it nitpicking but, really, I do what I can to make sure this propaganda machine cannot exercise its goals or is exposed for what it is:

Dear Governor Richardson:

Yesterday, I had an opportunity to go to the new DMV quarters in Grants. When I entered, I was aghast that Fox News Channel was playing on the lobby television set. I could not believe that a State of New Mexico official office would be playing this channel.

As you probably are aware, Fox "news" is well known for its far right wing propaganda, counter to everything our state's majority of voters stand for. This channel serves as an outlet for spreading false and misleading "news" to its viewers.

I would beg of you, sir, please mandate that all state government offices ban the airing of Fox "news" from any public viewing. This racist and far right wing machine has no place in our state or its official offices.
