A few years back, there was a Republican congressman/senator |
|
who made a controversial campaign commercial ... after hearing that a lot of people denounced the commercial, he decided not to run the commercial.
The "liberal media" then made the pulling of the commercial an issue ... and they fell all over themselves to play the commercial NATIONALLY multiple times (it was a regional campaign) ... it became a national topic, the controversial hit piece commercial on a Democratic opponent ...
So, now that a cable outlet kept a commercial from Media Matters from being played on the cable station in question ...
Where's the constant playing of the commercial? Why isn't there a national discussion of why the commercial was not played? Why isn't the commercial constantly played on the news as "news"?

You're right that other commercials have had constant news play when they are turned down or pulled. I haven't even seen this one even mentioned.
