Poll question: What Do You Think of Norman Goldman? |
|
Obviously I'm a fan. He's a new guy on the block as far as Progressive Radio goes, and boy do we need him. Conservative radio stations outnumber Progressive ones at 10:1. The coverage area difference between the two formats is an even wider gap. His syndication is growing, and hopefully becomes something rivaling it's opposition. The mantra is "The Home For The Fiercely Independent". What do yous guys think?

2. I'm not wild about Norman. |
|
I'm not wild about anyone who doesn't think first and foremost about defeating "conservatives". We liberals can work out our differences. If "conservatives" regain power we're all fucked.
People have such short memories.

Obama, but unfairly. He's a great source of legal info which I really enjoyed during this Gulf disaster and what can be done to BP & buy whome.

He is not very professional. He is typical of 'our side's' media talent, he is not there because he worked his way up, he made some deal as Ed's lawyer, and so he's on radio. The lack of actual radio skill, to me, is a waste of precious airspace. I tend to agree with him politically, but that does not radio make. Last time I put up with listening to him at all, some elderly lady called in with a nice comment, and she mentioned that she'd been told they had a relative in common. Goldman freaked out at her. He ranted on about it. Came back to the subject after a break. This was an elderly lady, and a liberal. He behaved as if she was trying to scam him or something. It was disgusting behavior on his part. His name is Goldman, for crying out loud, a common enough name. There were so many ways Goldman could have handled that. Such things happen to famous people all the time. He's barely, almost famous in one sector of radio listeners. He really needs to learn how to deal with being the celebrity he obviously wants to be, and thinks of himself as. If I want arrogant, nasty radio, I'll go with Rhodes, who has big old radio chops to go along with her ego.
