We Need the Christian Right to Re-Evaluate |
|
...We need the Christian Right to re-evaluate their assumption that Bush or McCain are the types of candidates to vote for merely because "They are Christian, like me." Please SPREAD these videos around! George W Bush Battles Jesus Christ: http://youtube.com/watch?v=t8xufsr2loghttp://youtube.com/watch?v=67EI1KMkzwshttp://youtube.com/watch?v=HGLR8Xqxiio

1. We've needed mainstream Christians and their leaders |
|
to battle the far right, Dispensationalist heresy for many decades.
Unfortunately, they've been tied up with some sort of fake notion of Christian solidarity with these people. Even a cursory glance at their core beliefs would tell them this is simply not the case.

2. Certainly...and somehow |

the idea that Christians are to store riches for themselves in heaven gets trumped by so many other 'worldly' 'ungodly' things.
It is mind boggling.

3. I Have Problems with the term Christian Right. |
|
Christians are suppose to be followers of Jesus Christ. When I look at the Christian Right I ask myself where is the LOVE? Christ said "Thou shall Love the Lord thy God..."And The second "Thou shall Love Thy neighbour as thyself" (Mat.22/37) I wonder why they don't practice what they preach.

The first video link posted above deals SPECIFICALLY with this contradiction in the Christian Right.
We need to pass these videos around as much as possible before the General Election!
