Just another drop in the bucket ... Osama "not on the radar"

Just caught a glimpse of "At Any Cost" in the library ... I've been interested in trying to find references to Osama bin Laden in any Right-Wing propaganda prior to 9/11/2001. Especially published books.

Looked at "At Any Cost ... How Al Gore Tried to Steal" yadda yadda yadda ... published by Regnery. So you would expect all things that could be tied to Bill Clinton ...

Not a mention in the index. Not one reference to Osama bin Laden.

They did have a reference to the USS Cole. I checked that. Not a bit about Osama bin Laden.

But they did have a lot about the "attempt to steal" the 2000 election, so it couldn't be because it was published too early.

Osama bin Laden was not on the radar of the Republican lunatic fringe prior to 9/11/2001, despite ObL's hand in the Cole attack, and, if you listen to Reich-wingers today, the Kobe (sp?) towers. Hell, they even try to say ObL was on the radar back during the Iran Contra hearings, and Ollie North, scum that he is, is tiring of having to debunk that one.

I saw ObL's tie to the Cole attack in a little quip in a local newspaper, sometime in early January 2001. So it had to be in the sights of the Clinton administration (aside from Condi's attempt to waive the ObL investigation off).

But yet, no mention of OBL in the psychotic press of the Reichwingers ...
