DANVERS - A disgruntled customer returning a lightbulb to the Osram Sylvania headquarters yesterday created a panic when writing on the package sparked fears the contents could be a bomb.
Police wouldn't reveal the words written, but it was enough for mailroom workers at Sylvania on Endicott Street to notify management, who in turn notified Danvers police and firefighters about 9 a.m. Danvers notified the state police bomb squad.
