GAYLORD — The Gaylord City Police responded to the parking lot of Ruby Tuesday Wednesday around 4:55 p.m. after a customer reportedly became concerned when he saw a small plastic object on the ground.
The slender gray piece of plastic was approximately 3 inches long and contained a small piece of wire protruding from one end.
City police detective Doug Kussrow, who responded to the complaint, said the customer was concerned the object might have been part of an explosive device and called 9-1-1.
A first responder at the scene with explosives experience identified the 3-inch long piece of plastic as a halogen light bulb, which Kussrow said may have fallen from the roof last year after a fire at the restaurant.
