Two teens in trouble after a homemade bomb goes off in Rye, NH

RYE, N.H. -- Rye police are asking parents to be more vigilant about what their children are researching online after two teens allegedly detonated a homemade bomb using a recipe they discovered on the Internet.

According to police, the two teenagers saw the recipe for the bomb on the popular Web site Youtube.com.

Neighbors called police after the blasts shook their homes and started a very small grass fire.

"I looked out the window and saw a big ball of fire," Thomas Clifford, neighbor, said. "I thought 'oh my god, a car is on fire.' And it turned out to be a molotov cocktail."
