EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. (AP) - Prosecutors in Madison County are considering whether to charge a 10-year-old boy who police say scrawled a bomb threat at his Edwardsville elementary school.
Authorities say the threat found yesterday on a boys' bathroom wall at Woodland Elementary School warned "I will blow up the school tomorrow."
Police say that after they reviewed security tapes, a fourth-grader at the school was interviewed with his parents and the boy confessed to writing the message.
Investigators say the boy had no means to blow up the school, and that they are unsure why he wrote the message.
