US CENTCOM chief arrives today (Pakistan)

ISLAMABAD: US Central Command Chief Admiral William Fallon is to reach Pakistan today (Tuesday) to hold negotiations with Chief of Army Staff General Ashfaq Kayani.

Both officials are scheduled to discuss Pak-US military relations. They will also discuss Pakistan’s role in the war against terrorism.

The situation in Afghanistan and the tension along the Pak-Afghan border will also come under discussion during the meeting. The two military chiefs will discuss different statements published in various US newspapers concerning the military operation in FATA and NWFP.
