Yet another commie pinko fag peacenik quote on war - |
|
"The men who wear the Army's uniform are dedicated to the task of bringing to our country the priceless reality of security. They are buoyed by the hope that growing confidence and trust among all people will bring a day when the trade of the fighting men will be known only to history."
On the first anniversary of V-E day (5/8/1946), these were Dwight David Eisenhower's words ...
Damn liberal commie pinko fag peacnik ... should have been run out of town, tarred and feathered ...

1. It was a much different army in 1946 |
|
It had conscripted soldiers of all classes and mostly men with moral compass that hated the violence of war but never the less did there duty. Now we have a generation of young throughly trained in violence (even if it is only in a computer game) and mercenary solders. They have been fed a steady diet of violence in movies and media their whole life so they think wasting someone is fun and justified. In 1946 no soldier thought of himself as a hero and no one thanked them for there service because you do not thank people for doing what is considered their duty. That is why vets of WW2 seldom talk about what they did in the war...They are not proud of killing and destroying.
