I am not surprised that Barack Obama is considering General James Logan Jones, the former CMC and EUCOM Commander, for his foreign policy advisory team. His overseas service experience during his many years in the Marine Corps in places like Vietnam, Japan, Iraq, Turkey, Germany, Bosnia, and Macedonia merits such position.
