Could the acceleration problem with Toyota's be some sort of hacker induced attempt at terrorism? ? |
|
I am not sure I have picked the correct forum, but I keep wondering if the problems could be deliberate and a sort of trial to see if automobile computer systems can be hacked. Not by Toyota, but against them. Perhaps as computer viruses are mainly designed for the major operating systems and thus Mac's are usually spared. Toyota's have had the largest market share....
Please don't jump all over me for posting such a ridiculous idea....I just think wonder if anyone else has had this thought.

Occam's Razor: The simplest explanation is most likely the correct one. It is usually not productive to attribute to malice that which can be explained by incompetence.

3. Having absolutely no basis for my theory, I suspect that cellphones/blackberry type comm devices |

for screwing up the computer systems on these vehicles.
A while back a friend was telling me that when his blackberry would receive a call, any computer he was around would go 'blue screen'...
Again, pure speculation...

5. ANYTHING is possible nowadays methinks . . . |
|
. . .
Watching USA's "shock and awe" as they targeted sites from thousands of miles away convinced me.
And as far as I'm concerned;
what we SAW
is only a fraction of what the USA's military is capable of
and oh yeah,
I DO believe they will make their little "tests" on whomever is available;
including their own citizens.
USA stopped being a viable democracy the moment JFK was assassinated,
That's my Canuk opinion anyhoo . . .
(sigh)
