neighbor’s property.
Vance E. Nelson, 58, was charged Monday in Outagamie County Court with second-degree reckless endangerment, operation of a firearm while intoxicated and disorderly conduct.
Deputies were called to Nelson’s home about 5:30 p.m. Nelson told them he saw the teens, then got into his van, drove it to the property and yelled “trespassing” to the 17-year-old boy and 15-year-old girl. When the teens didn’t respond, he returned home and fired two “warning shots” with a shotgun, the criminal complaint says.

Nelson acknowledged the teens had not threatened him, nor had he witnessed them causing any damage while on the property.<more>
