Michigan concealed carry 10 years later - worst fears never materialized. |

http://www.mlive.com/news/index.ssf/2011/06/worst_fears_about_concealed_gu.htmlThis is a good article but I feel it is written with an anti-gun bias. The facts are the facts. Pro-gun and anti-gun people can both find things in this atricle to gloat about...

1. The antis whole hate of CC is based by fear of an object. |

They have a tendency to assume the human is always an innocent being, corrupted by an evil object that whispers Kill Kill Kill...And it's so irresistible that everyone owns a gun is a cold blooded killer just waiting to snap. They fear the gun...guns are scary.
Now back to the article.....within a year or two 8 of 10 CHP holders will stop carrying on their person and just use their permit to keep a stored firearm in their car at most.
My brother has had his CC for 15 years, and while he may have 3 or 4 in his vehicle he hardly ever carries. He even bought a LCP last year that he's stopped carrying. Lot's of people I know have their permits for "those times" they want to carry. Carrying is a way of life it's not something you do as a matter of convenience. As I always say....safety first, victim later.

2. They never do. But that doesn't prevent gun-haters from continuing to sing that song. |
