Lawyer pulls gun on intruder armed with spoon

Curt Crowley said he was working late at his office in the 200 block of West Capitol Street in downtown Jackson, when he heard a noise at the door. The veteran defense lawyer said he grabbed his gun and carefully opened the door.

"And, I'm standing there, like this. I was aimed right at his forehead and he never moved after I told him not to," Crowley said.

The man was only armed with a spoon. Crowley was able to hold him until police arrived.
