"In 2009, Mr. Wolever was the victim of an attempted aggravated robbery at Starr and Walden avenues. Two boys approached Mr. Wolever and one of them, who was reported about age 16, pulled out a small folding knife. Mr. Wolever then pulled out his gun and the perpetrators fled, according to the report. At the time, Mr. Wolever had a concealed-carry permit, according to the report."
Please quote the part of the article that states he has an active CCW, and explain how that influenced or abetted his crimes.

They obviously made him lose his mind.
Of course the jury is still out on the dipstick: "The Lucas County Sheriff’s Office would not confirm if the conceal-carry permit is still valid."

3. Maybe CCW, maybe not - unless you have more info than the article |

So ... we actually don't know if they pulled his permit or not yet. Unless you have another source of information? But feel free to add shit to the story to make it sound better.
But just based on the article, this guy had a shitload of issues he wasn't dealing with well.
