It's just not economically feasible, when a robot can be sent up instead, and do pretty much the same work for a much, much longer period of time, at a fraction of the cost of sending humans there.

in less than 5 minutes why sending a robot to the moon has advantages over sending humans. But remarkably you're a guy with a seemingly unbounded imagination when it comes to CTs but you can't imagine why this potential technology has nothing to do with your notion that we never visited the moon.
