2. Now that would be a great idea |
|
besides, I heard somewhere that Frist wasn't running for re-election. If true it is an open seat and it would be good to have Al back in the Senate.

3. I would say it's a bit immature... |
|
But I think Frist is a poodle dog for this present administration. Yet another failed majority leader with no political future......

5. Bill Frist is leaving the Senate and going to run for President |
|
at least he will run in the republican primary.
but bill frist is not running in 2006 for senate again. it will mean he can start campaigning in the primary right away after his senate term is over.
from what i know the democrats will be running harold ford . i'm not sure who republicans are running.

6. I Think It's A Bad Idea... |
|
Tennessee has become a reliably red state despite having a Democratic governor and Gore would have a tough time winning....

9. He didn't win it running against BUSH... Frist is more popular in TN than |
|
Bush was in 2000.
More importantly... it's a demotion. He was VP for eight years for goodness sake... why go back to being a Senator?

I dont care what the talking heads say.
Tenn has moved way to the right since Gore left office as Senator back in 1992. I dont think he would have a chance against a conservative senate majority leader in a conservative state. Hell gore didnt even win Tenn during the 2000 election.
