I am amazed at the irresponsibility of the GOP for voting to drill in ANWR |
|
Edited on Wed Mar-16-05 11:43 AM by flpoljunkie
Drilling in ANWR will do virtually nothing to solve our energy dependence on foreign sources.
ANWR would only lessen our dependence on foreign oil by 3% and not until 2025, when we will be exporting 68% of our oil without ANWR.

4. Because it gives them opportunity to pay back some of their |

oil company buddies for their contributions. They DO NOT CARE what they do to the country, its people or land, the Constitution, the military, the environment or its laws. It is pay back time, Baby. And they are paying back in spades.

astounds me! Don't they care that over 60% of Americans are against drilling in the Arctic Refuge??? Is this just hubris or are they really stupid about what is going on with public opinion and the president and congress' approval?

The GOP is the party that claims that adding another $1 trillion to the national debt will add more funding to Social Security :P. With the way they warp the truth, if W said the sky was blue, I would have to go make sure.
