There is loyalty and then there's Loyalty |

At the beginning of the campaign season I was ready for the democratic party to come out fighting. But no, we get talk of working together, etc. I've had enough of working together and I am not ready to make nice. And then there is, for me, the disturbing practice of what I see as bashing the Clintons, even on the more progressive sites. I have many issues with Hillary and I'm not endorsing her, but the Clintons have been our public servants in one venue or another for many years now and I don't like to see the eating of one's own. Leave that for the republicans. I am a pagan and am use to being politically disappointed - I'm pretty sure that I won't see a pagan in high office in my lifetime. But I still want to back a party that has, at least some semblance of honor, integrity, and righteous anger at the real enemy. I'm not seeing this right now and I don't see why I should be loyal to the party. I'm not advocating anyone leaving the democratic party. We are all adults and can think for ourselves. These are my frustrations and I have committed ,to myself, that I will stick with the democrats until after the election but I don't think I will after.
