With of course, Huckabee first.
GodTube and (Young?) VotersIt's purely unscientific, of course, but there's a fascinating survey going on at the GodTube Web site. The site is an alternative to the YouTube video sharing site, created by evangelicals, and (one assumes) used particularly by younger evangelicals. The survey asked people to register their preference for presidential candidates. As of today, the results: Mike Huckabee, 34.5 percent; Barack Obama, 24.5 percent; Hillary Clinton, 19.7 percent; Mitt Romney, 13.3 percent; John McCain, 8 percent. According to a news release, Obama's numbers have increased 35 percent since Jan. 27, and Clinton's have increased by an amazing 78 percent in the same period.
It's hard to say what all this means, except that if these visitors to GodTube (48,000 participated in the survey, according to the news release) are in fact young evangelicals, then there could be a fundamental shift going on between the generations.
Not sure what kind of shift that would be.
If you vote in the poll below the prez one, you get some interesting questions...like equipping passenger planes with anti-missile devices.
