Clinton people , dont count your chickens until they hatch. |
|
You may have won Mass, and NJ, and maybe even MO, but those polls could just as easily close up as bigger cities report. That would eliminate the talk from some that Clinton routed the Kennedy's, or Clinton wins Big. Not to mention, if these numbers do close, watch the delegate counts as they could be very close as well.
Just saying.

3. The focus on 'winning' in terms of percentage, rather than in delegate totals... |
|
betrays an amazing ignorance of the process on the part of a lot of people, too...Hillary 'won' Nevada, in terms of percentage of total vote; she LOST in terms of number of delegates. The same could happen in, conceivably, ANY state where the voting margins favour the 'losing' candidate in areas with more total delegates (which is something supporters of both candidates who choose to engage in the message-board equivalent of an end-zone celebration after a touchdown would do well to keep in mind).

But I don't think we're going to get the wins we need. The same old mindset of people who went for Bush over Kerry. The devil you know and all that stupidity. That's the way the exit polls look to me. I don't understand it, but that looks to be the trend unless the west turns everything upside down and I don't think so.
