I think that Obama will be Mr. Cool-headed |
|
tonight, don't you? He will probably come to the debate with a mind set like, "Now, Now there, there, it's okay, did we have temper-tantrum?" without saying it actually. Really, when someone is out for a fight, the best thing is to ignore them, right? He will have good comebacks but they won't be low blows, or will he surprise everyone? I don't think Hill will surprise anyone, with whatever she says, and I believe she is in a difficult position now, of having gotten mad and now looking(maybe) two faced if she is the "nice one" tonight.

3. Or, he could come off as disengaged |

It's always a fine line to walk. I think people like passion in a candidate.

6. Personally I want a president who can keep |

his cool under any circumstances. When the rubber meets the road, like the Cuban missile crisis, that is absolutely a must.

5. Just counter her attacks with a simple message. |

"Now Hillary, these attacks are unfortunate and politics as usual -- Americans are past this bitter political fighting. It is time we stop tearing each other down and instead build our own campaigns up."

13. A couple of deadpan snarks if needed. |

I was watching a clip of Obama talking to Hillary about NAFTA and he said "but your husband..." Hillary said "well, he's not standing here now. I am" (Good line for Hillary). Then Obama said, much to my delight, something along the lines of "it's confusing to know who I'm running against sometimes."
He does that VERY well and I think they're effective.
